DCFS Youth Hotline and Supporting Emancipated Youth

Young adults 18 to 21 whose DCFS case closed can ask to return to care through the Supporting Emancipated Youth program. The same Advocacy Office hotline takes complaints and questions from current and former youth in care.

Ages 18–21 with a closed DCFS case, not a current ward, and case not closed by reunification, adoption, or private guardianship
