Indigent ID Card
Georgia Department of Driver Services
Reduced-cost Georgia ID for people who cannot pay the normal fee. Get a voucher from an approved nonprofit Indigent Resource Provider, fill out the License/ID/Permit form online, then bring your documents to any DDS customer service center. A shelter or halfway-house letter dated within six months counts as proof of residency.

Georgia residents holding a voucher from an approved Indigent Resource Provider; not available to people with a valid out-of-state driver's license
How to get in
Obtain the voucher, submit the online pre-application (good for 60 days), then visit a DDS center

Voucher; one identity document (certified birth certificate or U.S. passport); two proofs of Georgia residency or a shelter letter; Social Security number; immigration documents if not a U.S. citizen
