Fostering Connections (Extended Foster Care)
New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department
CYFD's program for young adults who were in foster care, with extended foster care to age 21 and supports through age 26: transition planning, tuition and fee waiver, Medicaid, start-up funds, Education and Training Vouchers, and housing programs.
Who it's for
Young people currently in foster care or who aged out, ages 18–26; extended foster care covers ages 18–21.
