Community Reentry Services, Division of Rehabilitative Programs

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

Runs CDCR's pre-release community programs, including the Male and Female Community Reentry Programs, which let eligible people serve the last 60 days to 32 months of a state prison sentence in a community facility with housing, employment, education, and recovery support. Placement is requested through your correctional counselor during annual review.

People in CDCR custody with 60 days to 32 months before their earliest possible release date who meet Title 15 section 3078.3 criteria; must accept electronic monitoring

How to get in

Volunteer through your Correctional Counselor I; screening goes to the Institution Classification Committee and then a Classification Staff Representative
